The Placement Cell acts as a facilitator and support system for students, ensuring they have access to a wide range of placement and internship opportunities. Campus Recruitment Drives
The Placement Cell organizes recruitment drives on the college campus. These drives bring companies from various sectors to conduct interviews and select students for part-time and full-time job offers. The Cell works to attract a diverse range of companies with different job profiles to provide opportunities for the students.
Internship Opportunities
The Placement Cell actively liaises with industries to secure internship opportunities for the students. These internships help students gain practical exposure, apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, and develop essential skills. The Cell collaborates with companies to identify suitable internship positions and facilitate the application and selection process.
Counselling and Guidance
The Placement Cell offers counselling and guidance to students regarding placements and higher education opportunities abroad. They provide assistance in resume writing, interview preparation, and career planning. The Cell aims to support students in making informed decisions about their career paths and helps them navigate the placement process effectively.
Leadership and Training Programs
Whenever necessary, the Placement Cell organizes leadership and training programs for students. The Placement Cell at our institute has a primary goal of offering excellent career opportunities to all students. The department maintains strong connections with potential employers and takes the responsibility of organizing campus placements for students. Every year, we witness the participation of around 100 renowned companies from diverse industries in the placement process. The positive feedback received from these industries indicates that our students consistently meet and exceed their expectations in the professional roles they are assigned.
Heading the Placement Cell is Prof. Jaswant Patra, who brings extensive experience and expertise to the role. He leads a dedicated team of student “Placement Conveners” who actively contribute to the activities and functioning of the Placement Cell. Together, they work tirelessly to ensure that students have access to the best career opportunities and receive appropriate guidance and support throughout the placement process.
